Are you serious about selling online, in the US and internationally? You’ve probably heard of Prosper, the show for professional online sellers. If not, it’s in just under a month in Las Vegas – the 22nd and 23rd of March. We’ll be there throughout, exhibiting and chatting to sellers about how to best develop their business.
So why should you attend? Well, here’s a quick list of reasons:
1: Over 30 industry leading speakers
2: 10+ former Amazon business leaders
3: Sessions for Private Label sellers as well as Advanced sellers
4: Workshops available on the 21st
5: Coverage of almost every aspect of running a successful ecommerce business trading on Amazon
6: Meet and learn from thousands of other sellers, business owners and industry leaders
At Volo, we’re more than experienced when it comes to Amazon selling.
We work with small and mid-size merchant businesses all the way up to established brands to help them maximise the opportunity presented by marketplaces, whatever vertical they operate in.
It’s about more than Amazon though. As more and more retailers are realising, selling on one channel is increasingly risky. It also reduces the potential audience your products could be addressing. As we’ve mentioned before, omnichannel retail is the future.
One reason for this is that selling internationally means taking on new channels to best fit the local demand. Consumers might not be loyal to brands or retailers as much in this era of commerce, but marketplaces have tended to defy that and find loyal consumers in geographic bases. Examples include cDiscount in France, FlipKart in India and now increasingly Walmart in the US.
Many of the sellers we expect to see at Prosper are increasingly aware of the need to diversify their sales channels. They know that this will bring resilience as well as increased revenue.
However, many of them also know that the work required to manage their stock, orders, payments and warehousing whilst optimising their selling processes across online channels is immense.
Some sellers will turn to software to aid them in their quest to conquer multichannel selling – some will succeed, many will fail. If you’re coming to Prosper, have you thought about how to handle the challenges of multichannel retailing?
We’ve written a free ebook all about buying multichannel software. Download it to get the low-down on what you need to look for, and how to get the most from it.
If you’re coming to Prosper and want to hear more about multichannel retail management, come visit our stand! We’re at #38-39 on Wednesday 22nd and Thursday 23rd March. See you there!
