This week Volo announces the launch of its Flight School, the place to go for learning resources to help customers and their team navigate the Volo system. The Flight School, which sits on the Volo Community Hub, is available to all customers and is inclusive in Volo’s service. It offers over 60 Navigation Videos covering key areas of the system and provides quick demos. Navigation guides offer step-by-step instructions to complete tasks. You can also view the schedule and register for instructor-led live online sessions.
The Flight Simulator eLearning modules are a highly interactive learning experience. They use software simulations, quizzes and activities to help understand the processes and concepts. You can learn at their own pace, in your own time and are available on mobile devices.
Pilot Licence Certification
The Volo Learning team is also excited to announce the arrival of our new Pilot Licence certification programme. Following a very successful pilot group, Volo received positive feedback from their ‘test pilots’. 95% said they would recommend the programme to colleagues.
Volo test pilots said:
“I loved the interactions between the organizers and the participants, it definitely kept everyone interested and focused on the session.”
“Everything was covered in full detail and I now have a greater understanding of many different areas.”
“I would recommend this to other colleagues, you can’t drive a car without a licence! “
What it means for customers
The Pilot Licence ensures your teams makes the best use of Volo so it works more effectively for your business. This will help to reduce operational costs even more and in turn grow multi channel ecommerce marketplace sales.

How it works
The certification programme consists of a series of core modules from our session portfolio. They are specially selected to provide a solid base knowledge of the system. This includes how to import inventory, preparing products to list to eBay and Amazon, and using channel profiles to streamline the listing process.
There are two ways in which customers can follow the programme; which one you choose depends on your preferred learning style. You’ll be able to join a series of live online sessions run over a two-week period. Alternatively, if you prefer to learn at your own pace and time, you can follow Volo’s interactive eLearning modules. Whichever route you take, you’ll be given access to your very own training database so you can explore the system in a safe environment.
To be awarded the Pilot Licence, you will need to successfully complete a series of practice tasks within the Flight School. To help you with these, you’ll have access to a wide range of learning resources including eLearning materials, videos and navigation guides.
Darren Edels, Head of Implementations and Training at Volo said, ”Volo is so much more than just a software solution.
